SUDEL provided a cost effective solution to install and commission 5km of fibre optic cable within a solvent extraction plant (Hazardous area).
The cable installation was designed to support an on-site alert system to monitor and notify of any plant fire hazard.
SUDEL was responsible for project commissioning of Stages I, II and III, with work including:
- Installing fibre optic cable in strategic positions within cable trays
- Fibre splicing, splitting and testing using skilled Communications technicians
- Control panel installation and commissioning
Our service management presented significant cost savings to the client. Work was delivered on time and to specification.
